Mark your calendars for Saturday, August 23rd and Sunday, August 24th, because Het Park near the Euromast will be transformed into a musical paradise. During the Weekend of Classical Music, you can enjoy a colourful mix of classical sounds, world music, and magical performances amidst the greenery – completely free of charge.
Saturday is Romantic Music Day, when Het Park transforms into an enchanting backdrop of classical sounds, stylishly decorated stages, and romantic vibes. Sunday is dedicated to Sinfonia in Het Park. An accessible day, with a cheerful family concert. And later in the evening, the grand evening concert follows, complete with impressive soloists, a symphony orchestra, and a spectacular fireworks display as the finale.
Roffa Mon Amour is one of the city's most magical film festivals, and from August 13th to 24th, it's time again for challenging films from both emerging and established filmmakers.
This year, the annual film festival will once again take place in the sculpture garden of the Brutus art institution on Keilewerf. At this beautiful location, you can enjoy the best films from around the world amidst the most bizarre works of art.
The films start around 9:30 PM, as the sun slowly sets below the horizon. Grab one of the available headphones and enjoy a film in a magical atmosphere. Before and afterward, you can enjoy a drink in the sculpture garden!

Every Wednesday night, Rotterdam is back on skates! From July 23rd to August 27th, you can skate through the city with some great music in the background.
The Wednesday Night Skate has two routes. The first three nights, the route starts and ends at Museumpark. The break will take place in the artistic setting of Beeldenpark Brutus. For the last three editions, the group will depart from De Gele Kanarie on Binnenrotte, with Kralingse Pas the perfect spot for a well-deserved break.
