Are you coming to Rotterdam Centre and do you want to park your car in a P+R area? Good choice! Because this is one of the most efficient ways to reach the city. To ensure that there is enough space, a handy tool has been developed.
An efficient way to reach the centre is using a P+R area. These sites are located outside the centre and close to public transport. If you park your car here and continue your journey to the centre by public transport, parking is free.
There are sixteen P+R areas in Rotterdam:
Starting in June 2026, Rotterdam will have a new P+R location at Diergaarde Blijdorp. Visitors can park their cars in one of the 250 available spots and then continue their journey to the city by public transport, shared bicycle, or shared scooter. Parking is free for up to 24 hours when using public transport or shared transport.
Now you obviously don't want to drive all the way to a P+R site, only to find out that it is full. To prevent this, a handy tool has been developed. This shows you exactly how many places are still available.
In addition, this handy tool indicates whether the car park is open, how many spaces there are in total and how many of them are occupied and open.
