Stadhuisplein is bustling like never before. With the arrival of Beau, a stylish and versatile restaurant slash bar from Struisenburg Horeca (known for Cornelis and Café ’t Fust, among others), this iconic square is getting a surprising new look.
Beau is there for every moment of the day. During the day you can enjoy a good cup of coffee, a light lunch or a cozy drink on the sun-drenched terrace. Think of pain perdu with maple syrup, a classic croque-madame, or a glass of wine with fine bites.
As soon as the evening falls, Beau transforms into a lively spot where music, cocktails and good vibes come together. Let yourself be tempted by dishes such as steak with beurre café de Paris or finish with a silky crème brûlée. Here it is all about taste, style and experience - always with a Rotterdam touch.
Beau's interior is designed by creative collective Too Many Agencies, also from Rotterdam. Expect a mix of Parisian elegance and modern flair, with cozy seating, luxurious materials and Instagram-worthy details. Chic, but with a playful edge.
With Beau, the return of classics such as Café ’t Fust and Coconuts and a fourth concept that will be revealed soon, Struisenburg Horeca breathes new life into the Stadhuisplein. A place that is once again growing into the meeting place in the heart of the city – full of energy, character and Rotterdam pride.
Beau is scheduled to open in June 2025.
