A theatre hall without seats, a huge dance floor and a night full of performances: this summer, Nieuwe Luxor will be transformed into something completely different. On Saturday 11 July, the iconic venue will become a unique rave location for one night only during PAARDENRAVE x Luxor.
Before the new chairs are placed in the hall, Rotterdam will have the opportunity to experience the New Luxor in a unique way. Where visitors normally enjoy performances, concerts and musicals, a huge dance floor will soon be ready.
Together with the Rotterdam collective PAARDENRAVE, the hall will be transformed into a colorful world full of music, performance, costumes and surprising acts. Expect a mix of rave, theater and a good dose of absurdism – exactly what PAARDENRAVE is known for.
The line-up includes APOLLO 18, ANSJOWVIS, COLD ASS ICE, KAHORSA, KIM SWIM, MOODY MEHRAN and PANTEROS666. The theatre hall will be filled with music and performances well into the night.
The event is part of Nieuwe Luxor’s 25th anniversary celebrations. The temporary transformation creates a special moment: a place that is usually all about watching and listening will become a place to dance for one night only.
