In the run-up to the Dutch Sustainable Fashion Week (DSFW), a retail space in Rotterdam City Centre and another in Alexandrium Shopping Center will be transformed for a month into the place where fashion, creativity, innovation and conscious shopping come together. Discover new brands, meet Rotterdam-based makers and find inspiration during an enjoyable day out with friends, family or colleagues.
There is a varied programme, so there is something new to experience every day. The programme differs between the two Experience Centres. For the latest programme details or any questions, please visit the Instagram account @dsfw.rotterdam.
You can reserve a place for activities, either on your own or together with others.
Admission to the exhibition is free, and you are welcome to simply drop in.
Take part in a range of competitions and be in with a chance of winning goodie bags, discounts at participating shops and free access to selected DSFW events and activities.
This year, DSFW is hosting a competition in which Rotterdam designers can compete for a place on the runway in October. They will use donated textiles to create award-winning upcycled looks. So bring along any clothing you no longer wear to one of our textile collection points and cast your vote for your favourite designer!
The Experience Centres mark the festive launch of Dutch Sustainable Fashion Week, which takes place at various locations across Rotterdam from 7 to 11 October.
Under the motto “Let's change the future of fashion together”, it brings retailers, designers and visitors together in Rotterdam. Together, we show that conscious shopping, local creativity and vibrant shopping streets can go hand in hand.
During DSFW, Rotterdam is fully dedicated to the future of fashion. Whether you are already making conscious fashion choices or simply curious, looking for inspiration or a fun activity while shopping: everyone is welcome at DSFW.
Throughout the city, enjoy runway shows, workshops, pop-up shops, exhibitions, talks, styling sessions, swap events, repair and upcycling activities, and much more. Make it an enjoyable day out with friends, family or colleagues.
