Business owners from Rotterdam Centre pick up tourists from all over the country during the summer holidays with a great old-timer bus. This time it was the turn of a group of winners from Lelystad!
After a period with many measures, there is room to do business again. Summer vacation is in full swing and everyone is eager to get out the door! Rotterdam wouldn't be Rotterdam, especially as a city that always likes to be hospitable, if it didn't go one step further.
Na een periode met veel maatregelen is er weer ruimte om te ondernemen. De zomervakantie is in volle gang en iedereen staat te trappelen om de deur uit te gaan! Rotterdam zou Rotterdam niet zijn, zeker als stad die altijd graag gastvrij is, als ze niet net een stapje verder gaat.
Shopkeepers and property owners in the heart of Rotterdam want to show how great the centre of Rotterdam is. That is why they pick up shop lovers from seven different provinces every Saturday during the summer with the special De Deur Uit Express bus. This way the rest of the Netherlands can also see what Rotterdam has to offer.
The first ride with the Deur Uit Express happened on 17th of July and a group of happy Eindhoven residents went to Rotterdam.
On 24 July it was Lelystad's turn. The winners were picked up in the early morning at the Neringweg for a pleasant and well-filled day. They were offered a great programme from 11:00 to 19:30. They went to all the hotspots in the city with a guide who knows the center very well. Of course there was also plenty of time to go on an adventure in the city center on your own.
