The Deur Uit (Out of the Door) campaign has started! Business owners from Rotterdam Centre pick up tourists from other cities every week with a great old-timer bus. After a day of exploring all the hotspots, the tourists are brought back home.
After a period with many measures, there is some room to do business again. The summer holidays are about to start and everyone is eager to get out the door! Rotterdam wouldn't be Rotterdam, especially as a city that always likes to be hospitable, if it didn't go one step further.
Shopkeepers and property owners in the heart of Rotterdam want to show how great the centre of Rotterdam is. That is why they pick up shop lovers from seven different provinces every Saturday during the summer with the special De Deur Uit Express bus. This way the rest of the Netherlands can also see what Rotterdam has to offer.
After a lovely ride, the bus arrives in Rotterdam. Here the participants are offered a great programme from 11:00 to 19:30. They visit all the hotspots of the city with a guide who knows the centre very well. Of course there is also enough time to follow your own plan. And at the end of a successful day, all participants are returned to their home city.
The first trip with the Deur Uit Express bus was successful! A group of happy people from Brabant from Eindhoven were picked up last Saturday in the early morning at the Frederiklaan for a pleasant and well-filled day. Watch the aftermovie below for an impression.
