Sneakers, sandals, boots, pumps… The most beautiful shoes and shoe shops can be found in the centre of Rotterdam.

Whether you're on the hunt for the most exclusive sneakers, want to make yourself (or your partner?) happy with sky-high Louboutins, or browse the new winter collection of your favourite brands. Rotterdam has it all. Read about the best shoe stores in Rotterdam Centre below.

Van den Assem

One of the most famous shoe stores in Rotterdam is Van den Assem. For young and old, men and women, sneakers and boots, they have everything here. Their collection of brands is also quite extensive. Think of UGG, Shabbies, Toms, Fred de la Bretoniere, Nubikk, Michael Kors and more.

When it comes to men's shoes, top brands such as Floris van Bommel, Santoni, Nubikk, Blackstone and Magnanni are at the forefront.

This spacious shoe store can be found on the Aert van Nesstraat, the side street of the Lijnbaan. Perfectly located on the route during your shopping day. Van den Assem’s sister store can be found just a five minute walk away. Another great recommendation!

De Bijenkorf

For many, De Bijenkorf is nothing new. That’s why it cannot be missed in this list, given the wide range of shoes in different price ranges. Exploring the Bijenkorf is of course a party in itself, but wait until you go up the escalators and enter the shoe mecca.

Brands like Jimmy Choo, Tommy Hilfiger, Prada, Steve Madden, Balenciaga, ba&sh, Unisa and Dune London are waiting for you. There is also a somewhat smaller sneaker department, with brands such as Converse, Nike and Vans.

Snipes

Fan of sneakers? Then quickly run to the Lijnbaan, because this is where you have Snipes. When you're outside, it quickly becomes apparent why you should be here: the entire shop window has a wall of sneakers.

Inside you can buy the well-known brands, such as Nike, Reebok, Puma, New Balance and more. Ideal if you want to expand your sneaker collection or need some new sports shoes for the gym.

Oqium

Looking for exclusive sneakers? These can also be found in the centre of Rotterdam. For example at Oqium on the Korte Lijnbaan. Here they specialise in the latest sneakers and NBA's most popular versions of Nike, Jordan and New Balance. So the place to be for basketball lovers.

Woei

Sneaker and clothing store WOEI is a good example of a gem that has become an established name in the city. Every Rotterdam sneaker lover has certainly set foot here at least once in their life.

Owner Woei sells the most cool and exclusive sneakers in his store of the same name. So exclusive, that with some items there is a long line in front of the door with eager sneaker fans.

Omoda

You will find Omoda on a slightly quieter part in the centre, but directly behind the Lijnbaan. This popular shoe store with a huge range is located on the corner of Karel Doormanstraat and Van Oldenbarneveltstraat. Ideal if you want to try on your favourite shoes from their webshop.

BOTH

Shoe specialist BOTH has been a household name in the city for more than half a century. There are two locations in the same street: BOTH Rotterdam Heren (men) at Van Oldenbarneveltplaats 25 and BOTH Rotterdam Dames (ladies) at Van Oldenbarneveltplaats 194.

At BOTH, quality and personal attention go hand in hand. All shoes in the store are selected by the owner and added to the collection. The extensive range consists of business and private, young and old, trendy and classic.
