Good news for all tech lovers! This autumn, the MediaMarkt will open a Tech Village in the city centre. The store in the current location will be completely transformed and will be a mecca for anyone who loves the latest technology.
Milaan was de eerste stad waar de MediaMarkt een Tech Village opende, maar Rotterdam kon niet achter blijven. En waar anders dan op hun locatie aan het Binnenwegplein?
Bij dit concept van een Tech Village draait alles om de modernste technologie en het beleven ervan. Een echte ontmoetingsplaats dus voor iedereen die van de nieuwste gadgets houdt, variërend van smartphones tot drones.

Milan was the first city where the MediaMarkt opened a Tech Village, but Rotterdam couldn't stay behind. And where else but at their location on Binnenwegplein?

This is how these kinds of gadgets and devices really come to life and we offer the best possible customer experience.”
Of course, a meeting place cannot exist without a cool barista bar. In addition, various 'boutiques' are placed in the store where products are displayed that you can test yourself. Also nice: the MediaMarkt Tech Village gives daily demonstrations of the latest technological gadgets.
But that is not everything. When you visit the Binnenwegplein the coming days, you will notice that the MediaMarkt is building a Tech Village here. The new facade and entrance will be fitted with striking LED lighting. In addition to the typical red colours, green is also central. Striking green walls full of plants provide a warm and fresh look, which completes the new experience in the store.
Finally, the Tech Village offers a pick-up machine where you can pick up your orders 27/4 and there will be a room to have your devices repaired.
