Do you still have a bicycle in the basement or storage room that you no longer use? Why not donate your bike to someone who can put it to good use! In collaboration with Tour de France Femmes, the Municipality of Rotterdam wants to collect as many bicycles as possible.

Thanks to the Bicycle Bank, used bicycles get a new home. There are a lot of people in Rotterdam who do not have the financial resources to purchase a bicycle themselves. While cycling is such a healthy and cheap way to travel!

Donate to the Bicycle Bank

At the Fietsbank, Rotterdam residents with an income of up to 130% of the social assistance standard can receive a second-hand bicycle for free. Bicycles brought here are repaired if necessary and donated to eligible people.

Children's and women's bicycles in particular are desperately needed. This applies to children's bicycles from 20 inches, which are bicycles for children from about eight years old. Please note that the bicycle must have a lock and key. Do you have an electric bicycle, racing bike, bicycle with a derailleur, folding bicycle, tandem, BMX bicycle, mountain bike or fat bike? Unfortunately, these are not accepted here.

Drop-off points

Do you have a bicycle left? Then come and hand it in at one of the collection points! There are a number of points spread throughout the city. You can find them here. Because this summer is all about cycling, thanks to the Tour de France Femmes in Rotterdam, temporary return points will be added. Think of schools, companies and sports clubs. These points will be known from May 7.

Are you unable to return the bicycle yourself? Via the website below you can read how ANWB can collect the bicycle from your home.
