Wanted: New Fashion Mayor of Rotterdam 2026/2027

We are looking for a style ambassador who represents the city, inspires others, and showcases what Rotterdam fashion stands for. Someone with a passion for fashion, a creative vision, and a love for the city. Are you that person? Apply before 30 June.

The winner will be selected during a spectacular fashion show on Saturday, 12 September 2026, in the Koopgoot, right in the heart of Rotterdam.

Fashion Mayor of Rotterdam: More Than a Title

The new Fashion Mayor will become the leading fashion ambassador of Rotterdam City Centre for the 2026/2027 term. Throughout the year, the winner will play a prominent role in campaigns, events, social media content, and inspiring fashion projects across the city.

In addition, the winner will receive a shopping budget worth €5,000 for the year, to be spent at participating retailers in Rotterdam City Centre. This also serves in part as compensation for the associated responsibilities. During the year, the Fashion Mayor will have the opportunity to further develop and showcase their personal style through Rotterdam City Centre’s online and offline channels.

How does the application process work?

• Deadline alert: Make sure you’re in, applications are open until 30 June 2026.

• On 5 July, the finalists will be announced and you will hear what the assignment for the fashion show will be.

• Mark 12 September in your calendar. The finalists will take the stage during a fashion show in the Koopgoot, where they will present their own looks to the world.
