The light parade is a one-time event, but various light installations will remain in the city centre until 4 January and can still be visited.

What is the organisation doing for sustainability?

We turn on the lights together — not just for atmosphere and warmth, but also for visibility, connection, and a safer feeling on the streets. Thanks to smart, sustainable lighting, the city will have a greener glow this year that lingers even after the festive season.

Sustainability also plays a key role in various light art projects, such as the 6-metre-high light ball on Hoogstraat. This installation is entirely made from reused materials, from the ball itself to the decorative elements. Loving the city also means taking care of what already exists.

Are there first aid posts during the Warm Winter Parade?

Yes, several first aid personnel are present along the route.

Accessibility
