Rotterdam will get a new intimate and cozy fox den! With THE FAT FOX, Rotterdam has gained a gastropub. A modern restaurant, with a nod to a rich tradition. The menu includes tasty dishes to share, with vegetarian, fish and meat options. Also called high-quality pub food!
Upon entering, you immediately walk into the meter-high bar, where they prepare drinks from the extensive cocktail menu for you. You will also find nice beers at the bar, including Stella Artois and Goose Island, and more than a hundred whiskeys.
Owners Faruk and Daryl are no strangers to the restaurant world. Faruk previously opened The Iron Lady on Pannekoekstraat, where he faced a lot of challenges due to Covid. When he met Darryl, they immediately hit it off, and Darryl became a valuable business partner at The Iron Lady.
With their shared love for English pub culture, the idea for THE FAT FOX was born. A cheerful and friendly place, where you can eat well and enter easily.
