Come to Donner on Sunday, October 5th for a book signing with Kevin Hassing! Children's Book Week takes place from October 1st to 12th, and as the author of the Children's Book Week Gift, he'll be coming to Rotterdam especially to sign his book.
With the theme "Full of Adventure!", it's only natural that Kevin Hassing would write the Children's Book Week Gift. His series, "Sparrow and Captain Evilbeard," has won the Children's Jury three times in a row.
This year's Children's Book Week Gift, "Lexie," is about a girl who loves superheroes. If only she were one herself, because in class, she often doesn't feel like a hero at all. One evening, she sees a shooting star and wishes there were no more difficult words in class. When she gets to school the next day, she discovers that her wish has come true. But not only have the words disappeared, but also the objects and the people themselves! Together with her best friend Riff, Lexie sets out to find a solution.
