For weeks, the Rotterdam Warm Winter Weeks made our city shine. Thousands of lights, impressive light art, and a wintery programme that literally and figuratively warmed the city. But all good things must come to an end.
Fortunately, we still have the aftermovie, which beautifully captures the warmth, the impact and above all the joy of these weeks.
The programme was spectacular: from cosy coffee moments and performances on a giant advent calendar to a huge swing with a view over the Koopgoot. But the absolute highlight? That was, of course, the Rotterdam Warm Winter Parade.
With over 2,500 participants, this unique light parade made its way through Rotterdam city centre. Roller skaters, dancers, skaters and sound bikes followed a three-kilometre-long, spectacularly illuminated route through the heart of the city.
A feeling we would love to experience again every year; a new tradition that leaves us wanting more! Thanks to all the participants, everyone who helped make it happen, and all visitors to Rotterdam city centre!
