The centre of Rotterdam could use some life again! Fortunately, after some dark days, the shops are open again and the shopping fun can begin. To make it even more fun, a number of promotions have been organized in the centre.
The winter programming as we saw it before Christmas continues - and we are happy about that! This means that there is entertainment in the city, you can win great prizes and you can park cheaply.
In December you could already enjoy beautiful performances in the centre, including the swinging jazz music from Closer to Jazz.
And we have good news: these mini concerts are back! This means that from 19 to 23 Jan and 26 to 30 Jan between 13:00 and 16:00 you can enjoy the top of the new generation of young Dutch jazz talents. That makes the January days a lot less bleak, doesn't it?
Our tip: come and shop early! Then it is a bit quieter in the city and you can park more cheaply.
How exactly does this work? The garage in the Bijenkorf, namely Q-Park, has a great promotion that allows you to park cheaper during off-peak hours. If you drive into the parking garage between 9:00 and 12:00, you only pay €6 for three hours of parking.
That way shopping is already a bit more affordable, you step out of the car directly into the Bijenkorf and you have some quiet shopping time. The promotion runs until March 31.
You may have already received it while shopping in December, as flyers with unique codes have been handed out recently. With this code you have a chance to win very cool prizes.
