The Kralingse Bos forest in the darkness is the captivating backdrop for a truly special autumn walk. Whispering trees, fascinating light projections, and enchanting sounds bring the forest to life!

During a breathtaking two-kilometer performance, you'll be immersed in a magical world where technology, music, and nature converge. Behind every tree awaits a new surprise, from explosions of color on the foliage to a ballet of water jets and fluorescent grass stalks. Expect a whole new audiovisual experience.

Open after sunset

De Grote Schijn opens after sunset. Last admission is around 9:45 PM*. Because it gets dark earlier and earlier, the times the forest lights are turned on vary. There's plenty of time to explore the easily accessible route of approximately 2 kilometers at your own pace.

Whisper tickets*

For those who appreciate silence, a limited number of whisper walks have been added this year at the end of the evening. De Grote Schijn asks these visitors to enjoy the walk in silence during these time slots. This way, the atmosphere and effects are best appreciated. The extra-late whisper walks are on October 16, 17, 25, 26, and 31, and November 1. During these special whisper walks, De Grote Schijn will be open extra late until 11:30 PM, with last admission at 10:15 PM.

There are also extra early time slots during dusk, especially for families with young children. Check the website for all times and dates.
