The Swapshop opens new location in Rotterdam
A new coffee spot has opened its doors on Oude Binnenweg. Where it used to smell of chocolate, the scent of freshly ground coffee now hangs in the air. Barista Cafe has recently opened in the former premises of Chocolate Company.
Rotterdammers can visit the Barista Cafe for breakfast, lunch, or just a good cup of coffee right in the city centre. The cafe opened on Tuesday, March 10, and is now fully operational.
The café accommodates around fifty guests indoors and also features a small terrace on the street. The interior reflects the recognisable style of the concept: warm, welcoming, and focused on a relaxed atmosphere.
That living room feel is at the heart of it. It’s a place where you don’t just pop in for a quick coffee, but where you’re encouraged to stay a while. Whether you stop by for breakfast, a lunch meeting, or a coffee break in between, the setting invites you to take your time.
Barista Cafe started in 2009 in Alphen aan den Rijn and has since grown into a nationwide concept with locations across the Netherlands. It is known for its high-quality coffee, an accessible menu featuring breakfast and lunch dishes, and a welcoming atmosphere.
With the new location on the Oude Binnenweg, Rotterdam has gained another great spot for coffee lovers. The café is open daily from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
