In 1989, Funkie House opened its doors for the very first time on the Korte Hoogstraat in Rotterdam. A lot has changed for Funkie House in 35 years, but their love for streetwear fashion is still as strong!

Back in time

What started as a store with music merchandise, including tour T-shirts from various bands, quickly grew into a versatile place. With its own printing company, Funkie House offered customers the opportunity to have their favourite band printed on clothing.

Over the years you have come across Funkie House in countless places. Whether it was during the Funkie House Snow Trip/Surf Trip, on a night out where the Now & Wow crew wore their clothes, a Funkie party in Off-Courso, or while enjoying a Funkie beer at Bokaal. But there was also always something fun going on in the store, such as performances by bands and DJs.

Trendsetters

Today, Funkie House remains a trendsetter and the largest independent streetwear store in the Netherlands. The 750 m2 store covers three floors with an extensive collection of streetwear for both women and men. With a mix of authentic brands and new promising labels, you can shop nice streetwear, sneakers, bags and accessories here. Think of brands like Susan Bijl, Patagonia, Elvine, Nalgene and more.

Collaboration with IFFR

To celebrate its 35th anniversary, Funkie House is entering into collaborations with various clothing brands this year. The anniversary year starts with a wonderful collaboration with IFFR, where Funkie House releases a specially designed T-shirt and tote bag. These are available at IFFR sales points and of course at Funkie House itself.
